Springtime has finally landed in the Netherlands, time to change the winter tyres for the summer ones! A nice occasion for me to start a theme on spring and what makes the best springtime pictures. Of course the flower bulb fields are always spectaculair but they are not yet fully in bloom. Usually the first markers of springtime in the Netherlands are the Crocus flowers.
Trying out the my new ‘standard-zoom’ lens the Tamron 17-50 2.8 I felt like capturing some bokeh shots. So put it on 2.8, lying flat on the ground and away we go… I found that having some dewdrops in the shot makes a huge difference! And here’s a tip for you! Think foreground and background! sure you can get a nice picture of a flower with some blurred background but just make shure that the blurred bits are interesting as well and contribute to the image!
I’m waiting for some more dew-days now… 😉
