I’ve been very busy this week on assignment at the Maasvlakte and the Rotterdam Harbour area. My company Balyon is designing an annual report for a client that promotes Cargo shipment via rail. In the assignment we were also invited to go over to the Maasvlakte and the Rotterdam Harbour and take some pictures of the cargo terminals and the trains. Lucky me!
Besides six portraits I got the chance to go over to the cargo terminals and photograph during sunset. I had to get up at 04:00 hours in the morning to get at the location on time but it was all worth it! At these Terminals there are many safety precautions and some of the make it a little difficult to get close to the subjects but hey it’s an amazing location! Anything over there is worth a photograph! Especially in the amazing light we had that morning! I found it hard to capture the scale and size of everything but when viewed large it helps…
At this moment I cannot yet show a lot of pictures as I am still editing the shots but here’s a couple I wanted to share already.
more to come…
