After a wonderful day the clouds were blown away and gave us this magnificent sunset. This image was captured roughly 10 minutes after sunset and taken on the same night as my previous blog entry: Bulb Exposure. Quite a contrast in colours and atmosphere isn’t it? It’s a spot that I’ve visited before but every time the conditions are different. The image may look heavily edited but I used an 0.6 ND an 0.6 hard grad ND filter and exposure compensation, the result is very dramatic and colorful.
Other gear I used are Nikon D90 – ISO 200 – Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM – 12 mm – f 13 – 25 seconds – wb fine weather – Manfrotto 290 tripod
